Course Description:
Building on the fundamentals of Intro to DEWESoftX, this seminar will take a deeper dive into project files, types of synchronization, configuration of additional sensors, and advance Math functions; such as, the Logic, Functions, Signals, and Events tabs. Tutorials will provide an example of how to implement these additional items; while still building and using the items covered in Intro to DEWESoftX as the foundation. In addition, this seminar will briefly cover the setup and usage of FFT's in Math; along with, other items, using triggers for storing, User Inputs, Reports, and the Auto Export plugin to export data. This seminar ensures that a User can setup sensors, configure Math Channels and multiple display and Widgets, and acquire and analyze data. This seminar will briefly touch upon Sequence and it's capabilities, which will lead into the Automation Basic seminar.
Pre-Event Checklist
A computer per person is required, which must have sufficient space and access for file saving. Some functions may require administrative privileges.
Ahead of time please install the latest version of DEWESoftX which can be obtained from the DEWESoft website DEWESoftX | DEWESoft Download – Note: you will need to create a login to download, and we recommend downloading the 64bit version. It is also recommended that this is installed for all users unless policies prohibit this.
Alternatively, we can provide this on a USB drive that would require that the user had the ability to install from USB drives.
Introduction to Noise, Vibration & Harshness

Course Description:
This tutorial will introduce the attendees to measurement of noise and vibration and the analysis. Topics will include data acquisition, filtering, FFT, acoustics, rotating machinery, and structural dynamics. Attendees will learn terminology and concepts in these areas.
